Los Angeles, CA, February 28, 2009 — The end of March 2009 will bring in two new courses at the Hollywood Film & Acting Academy intending to broaden the scope of classes offered and to better prepare the next generation of acting stars.

Full time casting director Zora DeHorter will present ‘Auditioning – A Casting Director’s Perspective’, an eight week long course that meets on Tuesday nights starting on March 24th, 2009.

Actress Bree Michael Warner will teach ‘Acting for Young Adults’, a two tiered class for beginning and intermediate actors from age 9 to 18, as well as a workshop for parents that actively participate in their children’s acting career. Class will be held on Saturday mornings and start on March 21st, 2009.

Academy director and founder, Josh Sands, says, “The workshop will look at the business as a parent and how to crack open the door for your child and will focus on getting an agent, casting calls and how to understand contracts.”

The Hollywood Film & Acting Academy is broadening its appeal to those interested in pursuing both acting and filmmaking by creating a fun, family environment that maintains its focus. The Academy is excited to welcome Bree Michael Warner and Zora DeHorter to the staff.
