These developments may make it possible for consumers in the US to purchase tickets online in some states and to buy a ticket at a physical location in others. Avazoo Corp had always intended to exclude the American market altogether believing that the Wire Act and other possible legislative roadblocks would make it too difficult to sell raffle tickets in the country. However, in recent weeks the Department of Justice announced that the Wire Act only applies to sports betting and a number of states are already moving to allow online gambling activities.
The company is also currently in discussions with Native American tribes to acquire the land required to build the C.H.I.E.F. foundation in the United States which would be their preference and would create thousands of jobs.
