Devon, UK, September 20, 2010 — Returning to the town this October, from 20th-24th, the event looks set to be an exciting, fun and action packed celebration of food.
The festival draws thousands of people to Dartmouth over the five days. With fantastic workshops and discussions as well as trade stands showcasing some of Devon’s finest food produce, visitors will have the opportunity to taste the best South Devon has to offer! Celebrity chefs include Mitch Tonks, Valentine Warner and Michael Caines. In addition to delicious demonstrations by these talented chefs, other events and activities include a Children’s Day, live music, a food quiz hosted by Henry Dimbleby, a wild food walk, tea parties and a special South Devon Crab Day. The event promises something for everyone, with activities taking place in the Market Square, on South Embankment and, new for 2010, in Avenue Gardens.
