Costa Rica, Central America, 2nd February, 2010 – Scuba vacationers can now visit Costa Rica for a unique Scuba program offered at La Escuela Del Sol. This Costa Rica Scuba program provides CMAS ¬1 Star Diving Certification. To combine this course with Spanish, surfing or yoga classes, certification at LEDS requires a minimum two week course. These hands-on, scuba courses exhibit a very small class size. No more than eight spaces are available in each session.
Program participants will experience the Central Pacific Ocean of Costa Rica through a series of educational and fun dives in various locations. Diving highlights include views of giant, elephant ear corals and deep canyons covering the ocean floor. These live diving courses will be mingled with practical and theoretical safety instruction to create some of the most environmentally respectful, safety conscious and skilled divers to receive certification.
For more adventure, visitors may also choose from a wide variety of alternate recreations. Program selections include Costa Rica yoga, surf, poi (fire dancing), and Spanish language. La Escuela Del Sol already offers several combo packages that feature Costa Rica Scuba and Spanish; Scuba and Yoga; or Scuba and Surf. Participants also have the option to customize a vacation package to suit their needs. All accommodations are provided by La Escuela Del Sol. Costa Rica Scuba courses fill up quickly, so early reservations are recommended for enrollment.
Travel abroad to the exclusive La Escuela Del Sol resort for a unique CMAS 1 Star Diving Certification program. This certification is mandated by the World Underwater Federation for recreational diving and is the equivalent of PADI’s Open Water Certification. Resort guests may spend free time exploring the Montezuma region and participating in optional hikes, guided horse rides, and zip line canopy tours. Ambitious vacationers may also participate in one or more additional programs.
No matter the vacation package selected, guests will be surrounded by the lush, tropical jungle’s natural beauty and wildlife while being immersed in the culture of Costa Rica. Costa Rica Scuba participants may explore breathtaking dive sites such as the Franklin Cheng shipwreck, Cocalito, and Bye Bye Reef where divers may encounter Manta Rays and Giant Turtles near the eastern tip of Tortuga Island as part of this course’s curriculum.
While attending La Escuela Del Sol’s Costa Rica Scuba program, weekdays will consist of a combination of classroom instruction, applied learning, CPR training, and other equipment and skill proficiency exercises. Visitors to La Escuela Del Sol’s, Costa Rica Scuba resort will enjoy plenty of relaxation and recreation while building exciting, new skills.
