Many Great Projects Are Still Not Getting Funded Says Financing Consultant

Las Vegas, NV – November 8, 2010 — More solid projects should be getting funded according to the President of a private consulting firm, “Foremost Lending Consultants Corporation”.

Richard Gerry, the President of FLCC is concerned that many good projects with solid people behind them are not getting funded possibly because of the still sagging economy.

“Money is still tight even though there are projects and people out there who are reliable, hard-working and intelligent. Not to mention their collateral, credit scores and other criteria just isn’t all that bad. They should be getting more serious attention but somehow, they’re falling through the cracks”.

“Maybe it’s due to the economy, maybe people are waiting to see what happens with the mid-term elections or maybe lenders/investors just aren’t as confident in the economy as Washington wants us to believe”, said Gerry.

“Whatever the reason, our company will do everything possible to get those good projects funded and funded soon”.

In recent months, Gerry has seen and heard of more and more projects that seem to fit the more strict lending criteria and yet, these projects are still not getting their money.

Gerry knows that the money is out there but there just still seems to be a certain amount of hesitation on the part of the lenders. Not all projects qualify for financing for various reasons but the contention is that projects that should be getting financed are not.

“Every client thinks their project is great but the truth is that about 98% are not going to get financing. But, there are projects that are meeting or exceeding the loan to value ratios, the collateral is solid, the people are solid but these projects cannot get funded for some reason” said Gerry.
