Interview Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. at GOVgreen

I

(Alexandria, VA) – Please join us at the GOVgreen Conference and Exposition November 9 -10 and participate in a press conference with our keynote speaker, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Mr. Kennedy, President of Waterkeeper Alliance, long-time environmental advocate and successful author, will be speaking on November 10th at 10 a.m. on the exhibit floor in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. He will hold a press conference immediately following his talk. The press conference will be open to credentialed, pre-registered media.

“We’re proud to have such a distinguished speaker for our inaugural event,” says Ann Seltz, President of the Center for Environmental Innovation and Leadership. “GOVgreen’s education and exhibits provide an independent voice and up-to-date information for government and military professionals seeking to understand ways to green their operations and programs.”

In addition to his Waterkeeper role, Kennedy serves as senior attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council, is a professor at Pace University School of Law’s Environmental Litigation Clinic and was co-host of Ring of Fire on Air American Radio. He previously worked as the lead attorney in helping Riverkeeper restore the Hudson River. Riverkeeper’s success helped create more than 160 Waterkeeper organizations worldwide. For his accomplishments and active role in environmental issues, Kennedy has been named one of TIME magazines, “Heroes of the Planet” and one of Rolling Stone’s “100 Agents of Change.”
