Web artist Jens Oliver Meiert (meiert.com) releases charity project, “It’s Not Too Late to Send $1”: itsnottoolatetosendonedollar.org.
According to the artist’s website, the project was inspired by a newspaper ad that researcher Ellen Langer reported in her 1990 book, “Mindfulness.” The project was using the same spirit to ask for small contributions to a variety of organizations, including the Electronic Frontier Foundation, the International Red Cross, and World Vision.
Meiert Research & Development is an independent think tank concerned with psychology, sociology, economics, politics, and applied philosophy. itsnottoolatetosendonedollar.org is one of the first artistic projects the company supports.
