Local personal training studio, Momentum Fitness, is holding a free seminar Thursday February 4th 2010 on how to train your way to a healthy heart.

Vancouver, BC – Ever wonder what’s the deal with heart rate training zones? Or why so many professional athletes never leave home without their heart rate monitor? Momentum Fitness is offering a free seminar on Thursday February 4th 2010 at 6:00 pm on how to train heart smart.

Covering many topics such as what heart rate training zones are, how to calculate yours, how to use a heart rate monitor effectively and what the benefits of cardio training are this 45 minute seminar will be able to answer many questions and shed some light on this sometimes overwhelming topic.

Momentum Fitness, a training facility that specializes in personal training and small group classes, has clients ranging from golfers who want to lower their score to the busy executive who doesn’t have enough time to stay fit. Momentum’s mission is to apply our extensive knowledge and experience towards helping clients achieve a higher level of fitness and quality of life. Led by Barry Duncan, he currently manages 20 trainers at Momentum Fitness and assists in developmental programs specializing in injury rehabilitation and health specific concerns. He contributes regularly to our MFit blog postings and speaking engagements and is currently training for his first Ironman race in 2010.
