Montepulciano and Rosé: two noble wines, two noble Bormioli Rocco wine tasting glasses

Conceived to bring out the best in the bouquets of Italian wines and wines from all over the world, the Premium collection has been further expanded

Whether obtained through a maceration process or through the traditional “bleeding” method, rosé wines are increasingly appreciated by experts and interested palates for their ability to go with heterodox international cuisine and finger food delicacies.

As a tribute to this kind of wine, produced on the shores of Lake Garda and also in Puglia, Bormioli Rocco has enriched its Premium collection of wine tasting glasses by the addition of Rosé, conceived precisely to bring out the best of rosé wine’s taste characteristics.

Like the other wine tasting glasses and spirit glasses of the Premium collection, Rosé’s shape and size have been determined in collaboration with the AIS, the Italian Sommelier Association, in order to be sure of creating the ideal glass for every kind of wine.

A second addition to the Premium collection born of Bormioli Rocco’s passion for fine wines and spirits bears a name that needs no introductions: Montepulciano, one of Italy’s oldest red wines – the first recorded mention dates back to 789 – and the subject of an ode by the poet Francesco Redi.

Both Montepulciano and Rosé are made of fine crystal glass, whose particular chemical composition endows these wine tasting glasses with a shine worthy of crystal. Sturdily resistant to knocks and blows, and to washing in dishwashers, these glasses are perfect for both domestic and professional requirements.
