PGCC Welcomes Another PGA Faculty Member

Each faculty member at PGCC has their own special place in the family. Some of our faculty members are classics who have been here since day-one, some are PGA professionals and some are proud new additions. In the case of Randy Shannon, some are almost all of the above. Mr. Shannon, a member of the PGA, came on board as the Director of Placement at the Temecula, California campus in September of 2009.

Randy has been a class “A” PGA Member for 24 years with over eight years experience as General Manager and twelve years experience as a Head Golf Professional at such notable courses as the beautiful Kapalua Golf Club in Maui. He has received the “Merchandiser of the Year” award in his chapter and section of the PGA and, impressively, at the national level as well. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Randy has played in three PGA tour events and won over thirty 1st place professional golf tournament victories.

In addition to being our new Director of Placement, Mr. Shannon teaches all levels of Golf Operations and Career Planning & Placement.
