Seegrid Vision-Guided Pallet Trucks are the leader in Robotic Industrial Trucks. Today Seegrid hosted President Obama’s Job Council for a Manufacturing Listening and Action Session roundtable. This session provided industrial executives the opportunity to share their views and network with those advising the president. The roundtable session was held at Seegrid’s headquarters located in Pittsburgh, PA.
Scott Friedman, CEO of Seegrid Corporation said, “We are delighted to have hosted this event allowing other industrial leaders to share what can create jobs in the sector and how Seegrid has taken an important leadership role in material handling and manufacturing.”
The session was run by Jeffrey Immelt, Chairman and CEO, General Electric Company; Paul Otellini, President and CEO, Intel Corporation; Antonio Perez, Chairman and CEO, Eastman Kodak Company; Karen Mills, Administrator, Small Business Administration.
Seegrid is completing the second expansion within two years, recently completed renovating a 10,000-square-foot facility; connected to the current 30,000-square-foot location in RIDC Park West. Seegrid’s rapid growth includes doubling the employee base in the past two years, plans to continue to grow in the region, and bringing new jobs to Pittsburgh.
