SoftVit LLC announced the release of Lock my Drive 2.0. software edition. Lock my Drive is a portable security software that appeared on the market last year, it is intended for private data protection on a variety of devices such as internal and external hard drives, USB Flash drives and memory cards. The software is represented in the two versions Lock my Drive Instant (light edition) and Lock my Drive Strong (professional edition).
In comparison with the previous versions, Lock my Drive Instant 2.0. and Lock my Drive Strong 2.0 have been improved with new enhanced functionality. In addition to hiding and file encryption, the new editions support device locking function. A user can lock their device by means of clicking the ‘Lock’ button in the program window, it will make the device inaccessible to others and conceal the actual available free space.
Another added feature is file storage that allows keeping the most valuable and important files in a secure place. Each software user is provided with 2 Gb of free file storage for 6 months with an option to select one of the paid premium membership plans for 50 Gb, 100 Gb, 250 Gb, 500 Gb or 1 Tb of storage space. Online file storage is primarily used in order to protect files from being lost as a result of device damage, theft, accidental loss, virus attacks etc.
