Beverwijk, Netherlands, December 02, 2008 — As of today Temati is one of the first suppliers of thermal insulation protection materials to launch a multilingual website. Information about products, markets and applications are now made available in Czech, Dutch, English, French and German.

Frank Scheerder, Managing Director of Temati explains, “We operate worldwide and the majority of our customers are non-native English speakers. After having launched our new website in January 2008 the question arose whether or not to have it translated.”

“We are continuously looking for new ways to better serve our customer”, Scheerder continues, “Studies showed us that over 52% of consumers only buy products on websites with information in their own language. For a stumbling 36% of consumers availability of information in their own language is even more important than low prices! After having determined what these numbers could mean for our business we knew we had to proceed.”

The Temati website is widely used as a knowledge database about insulation protection, asbestos abatement, corrosion under insulation, indoor air quality, etcetera. In accordance with the latest reach legislation Temati.com provides safety information in up to 12 languages.
