Michael McGrath, Inspirational Business Speaker, Disabled Polar Adventurer and disABILITY Champion for Hilton UK & Ireland was included in The Queen’s Broadcast shown on Christmas Day, having recently been honoured at a reception to recognise people who have made a significant recent contribution to national life. Michael was invited to Buckingham Palace in recognition of his work for The Muscle Help Foundation. As the first disabled person in the world to have reached both North and South Poles, this high-profile member of the disabled community continues to reach far beyond everyday perceptions of the possible. His can-do spirit is personified by the example of self-improvement he continually sets.

Beneath his personable disposition and appealing sense of humour, there lie profound messages that provoke, stimulate and inspire change.
