TopGolf to host their own summer games

T

If you were not previously aware, apparently there seems to be some sort of high profile sporting event in our nation?s capital this summer. So to celebrate and capture the spirit of the occasion TopGolf are introducing the TopGolf Games, a unique blend of athletic ability, digestive prowess and possibly a dash of luck too.

TopGolf?s original outlook on the game of golf coupled with a fun selection of competitions and prizes is sure to capture the imagination of newcomers and old professionals alike. There are three competitions that will reward their respective winners with three unique and equally amazing prizes.

Firstly there is the ?Gold Man Challenge?, not for the faint hearted or for the weak stomached. In a true battle pitting man against food is a task that even makes the great Adam Richman nervous. The Gold Man Challenge comprises of two 8oz pro burgers, two chicken breasts, six rashers of bacon, six cheese slices, five onion rings, fresh salad and a gherkin, assembled between a tasty bun and accompanied by a side of house fries. This is a timed challenge, priced at £19.95 and for merely completing the herculean task a contestant will receive two free games of TopGolf; but the quickest time over the course of the TopGolf Games will win a years unlimited TopGolf!

Secondly is ?The Longest Drive?, a slightly more athletic challenge testing the strength and technique of your drive. Priced as £2 per game, contestants have three attempts (three balls) to hit the longest drive. Distances will be recorded with FlightScope to ensure accuracy, and the longest drive at the end of the TopGolf games will win a Callaway Razr Fit Driver, courtesy of american golf retail.

Last, but by no means least, we have the ?Minute to Win it? challenge, a hard-hitting and faced paced game where contestants will have to score as many points as possible with their 20 balls. All within the allotted timeframe of 1 minute. At £3 per game, not only is this a quick and fun game to play amongst your friends, but there is more at stake here than mere bragging rights; the winner of the competition will receive an iPad 3!

TopGolf had the following to say : ?The summer games are here and we are really excited to see our customers take part in our own special games. Whether they take part in the eating or golfing challenges, we are sure that everyone involved with have a great time and come away feeling full, happy and hopefully, triumphant.?
