The U.S. Supreme Court Admits Paul Lee to the Bar

Los Angeles, CA – As the highest bar in the land, the Supreme Court carries much history and honor for those who work to interpret our laws. AA-Accident Attorneys celebrates Paul Lee’s acceptance for admission to the U.S. Supreme Court. Adding to the honor was the experience of a lifetime: Mr. Lee—within whispering distance of the Justices—was admitted in open court. Admission in this way, which occurs while the court is in session for oral arguments, is a rare occurrence, since court is only in session for oral arguments from 35 to 39 days each year. Being sworn in by all nine Justices is something that Mr. Lee will never forget. Less than one percent of all attorneys who are admitted to the bar each year do so before the Justices.

Mr. Lee and the other attorneys were instructed by General William K. Suter, Clerk of the Court, to raise their right hands and take the oath:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that as an attorney and a
counselor of this Court, I will conduct myself uprightly
and according to the law, and I will defend the
Constitution of the United States.

Hearing Chief Justice Roberts grant the motion for admission to the Bar, Mr. Lee experienced an awe-inspiring moment. In the marble-columned courtroom, where so much history has been made, Mr. Lee joined a lineage of individuals who have striven to fight for legal rights. Landmark cases, such as Brown v. Board of Education, and Roe v. Wade, were presented in the court of which Mr. Lee now is a member. After the swearing in, Mr. Lee, along with the other attorneys sworn in, was personally escorted by U.S. Marshals to a private reception.

Admission to the Bar of the Supreme Court means that Mr. Lee is now authorized to file motions before the Court and argue cases.

Mr. Lee sees this latest milestone as another avenue in which he can serve the community. He originally founded AA-Accident Attorneys as a local specialized personal injury law practice, and grew it into a firm of national prominence, skilled in all areas of civil and tort law. In addition to providing clients with expert legal services through AA-Accident Attorneys, Mr. Lee currently serves the local community as a Judge Pro Tempore for the Superior Court.

AA-Accident Attorneys serves clients in many locations across the United States including Riverside, Orange County, Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, Pomona, Ontario, Newport Beach, San Jose, and Las Vegas.
