San Francisco Bay Area residents can donate a portion of their purchase to assist worthy charitable causes for veterans and troops
San Jose, CA – November 4, 2009 – Freedom isn’t free! It takes brave men and women putting their lives on the line to defend our freedom. Veterans Day gives Americans the opportunity to celebrate the bravery and sacrifice of all U.S. service men and women.
Z-CoiL® Pain Relief Footwear™ is doing their part to honor our veterans and soldiers who have done so much for this country. Until November 15th, they will donate a portion from every pair of Z-CoiL® shoes sold to one of the four organizations listed below and the customer gets to choose which one they wish to support and give a discount to veterans or active military personnel.
Veterans of Foreign Wars
The Veterans of Foreign Wars traces it roots back to 1899 and has a mission to “honor the dead by helping the living” through veterans’ service, community service, national security and a strong national defense. From providing $2.5 million in college scholarships to high school students every year, providing free phone cards to our nation’s active-duty military personnel, raising money for the World War II memorial, the VFW is there.
American Legion
The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, war-time veterans organization, devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is a not-for-profit community-service organization that exists for veterans and their families to honor and support all veterans who have served our country and provide much needed services in many different areas.
Wounded Warrior Project
The Wounded Warrior project is a non-profit organization dedicated to help the severely injured veterans. The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project is to honor and empower wounded warriors. Their overall purpose is to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women, to help severely injured service members aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of severely injured service members.
Any Soldier
The focus of Any Soldier is on the soldiers currently serving in the military. It started as a family effort in 2003 to support their son and his fellow comrades. They were in need of various care packages and cash donations, especially during the Holidays. It has grown substantially since 2003 and provides much needed basics to our troops that are currently serving in the military.
Discounts for Veterans
As a special thanks to veterans and active troops, Z-CoiL® Pain Relief Footwear™ is giving a 10% discount to anyone that purchases a pair of shoes and presents a valid military ID until November 15th.
