Virginia’s Guest House is a very affordable place to stay in East Harlem. A great place to stay bugetwise in New York city. Nice rooms with tv and airconditioning plus free use of internet on the computer in tv room on first floor. The hostel is really good for people who do not want to spend a lot. Not indicated for families with children, but really good for just a couple of people. Staff is really good and helpful, bathrooms and bedrooms are nice, and it is near the subway. It is easily reached by metro No.6, it takes 20 min. to go downtown.
Broadway Hotel & Hostel is in a super good location of the city (it takes only 20 minutes to Times Sq), They have a nice lobby where they display movies everyday and some days they even give free popcorn. It has a little kitchen for all to use, with refrigerator and microwave. Lockers are for free, and it has elevator and free wi-fi. It is sure good value for money.
Jazz on the Villa Hostel is conveniently located near many subways and buses, and is close to the bustling 125th street shopping district in Upper Manhattan. We are surrounded by many landmarks, including the world-famous Apollo Theatre, Columbia University, the Black Fashion Museum, the Studio Museum, the Lenox Lounge, the world-renowned Cotton Club, and The Duke Ellington Statue, and the Malcolm Shabazz Market. Transport is easy and the location is very handy to go to Central Park.
Highbridge House is ideal for Backpackers and budget travelers visiting New York. It is located in the greenest community of New York! Surrounding it are Fort Tyron Park, Highbridge park and Columbia University’s athletic fields which occupy almost a third of the community, more than any other community in the city.
