The American Banker’s Association (ABA) has approved Edcomm Banker’s Academy’s ethics training program for continuing education credits for CCSR certification.

New York, NY, January 03, 2008 — The American Banker’s Association (ABA) has approved Edcomm Banker’s Academy’s bank training course, Ethics: Code of Conduct, for continuing education (CE) credit offerings. Ethics: Code of Conduct helps bank professionals to earn credit towards achieving or renewing their Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) certification.

The CCSR certification formally recognizes professionals working in the financial services industry. The CCSR certification helps sales and service representatives to become knowledgeable and skilled about sales and service, banking basics, specific business competencies, and ethics. Ethics: Code of Conduct meets the CCSR certification requirement by covering topics such as: The Regulatory Agencies, examinations, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti Money Laundering (AML), USA PATRIOT Act, Privacy, Right to Financial Privacy Act, TISA, Deposit Insurance, Account Ownership Categories, TILA, Fair Lending, ECOA, CRA, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, Fair Housing Act, Reg D, Reg E, Reg O, Reg CC, and Servicemembers’ Civil Relief Act.

Ethics: Code of Conduct communicates the laws, policies and procedures that govern every action of every employee at the bank, reducing the risk of costly litigation and corporate image damage. Ethics: Code of Conduct provides comprehensive online Code of Conduct training for all bank employees, from the executive team to the entry-level employee. Ethics: Code of Conduct provides the legal policies that affect all employees, and underscores the ethical responsibilities of each individual employee.
