Belmont, MA– June 27, 2008- AdmissionsQuest welcomes St. Mark’s School as an AQ Member School. St. Marks is a coeducational independent high school in Southborough, MA. St. Mark’s AQ School Profile is/will be one of the resources available at www.AdmissionsQuest.com.

The St. Mark’s student body includes both boarding and day students with boarding students comprising approximately 80% of 359 total students. Founded by Joseph Burnett with encouragement from the Headmaster of St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH, St. Mark’s adheres to the principles of excellent liberal arts academics that prepare students for best colleges and universities. St. Mark’s became a coeducational school in 1974.

The recently established St. Mark’s Institute of Mathematics offers workshops, courses, and activities for students and adults of St. Mark’s community beyond. The Institute’s mission outreach include:

The Institute of Mathematics provides research experiences for young scholars, promotes innovative mathematics thinking through its quasi-weekly e-mail puzzles and through its monthly hard-copy newsletter. This letter is full of intriguing mathematical tidbits, curious mathematical challenges and accessible research problems for students (and others!) to ponder upon. The Institute is also developing a series of “Math without Words” puzzlers for its international correspondents who know no English.
