Peoria, AZ, February 04, 2012 — The Law Office of Corso & Rhude is pleased to announce the hiring of its newest attorney, Courtney Boyd, who joins the Peoria firm after previously serving in the City of Glendale’s Prosecutors Office.

Boyd, who received both her undergraduate and Juris Doctorate degrees from the Ohio State University, spent more than two years in the Glendale prosecutor’s office, reviewing and preparing motions, plea agreements and trials.

Prior to joining the prosecutor’s office, Boyd clerked for the United States Attorney’s Office in Columbus, Ohio and interned with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. She also served as a summer law clerk for The Plymale Partnership in Columbus, Ohio, and interned with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

While attending the Ohio State University, Boyd served as the chief managing editor of the Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law and the president of the Criminal Law Society. She graduated magna cum laude with honors and holds bachelor of arts degrees in Criminology and Sociology.

“We’re pleased to welcome Courtney to our staff,” said John Rhude, law partner at Corso & Rhude. “She will be a valued asset to our operations as we continue to expand.”

Christopher Corso, Rhude’s partner at the Law Office of Corso & Rhude said his firm has used its experience as former prosecutors to quickly grow its client base, stressing both a personal touch with all of its clients and a commitment to delivering the fairest results.

“We’ve drawn on our experience as former prosecutors to develop successful strategies for defending our clients in Arizona courtrooms,” Corso said. “Our approach to practicing law begins and ends with making sure each and every client receives the most professional representation.”

Rhude and Corso’s law firm has quickly built a reputation for its vigorous defense of clients, using their previous experience with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office to assist their clients with their criminal defense cases.

Both attorneys have extensive Arizona DUI defense experience, having previously prosecuted DUIs, DWIs and OUIs for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. Combined, Corso and Rhude have handled more than 15,000 DUI cases as prosecutors and defense attorneys.

In addition to DUI defense, the Law Office of Corso & Rhude handles all criminal defense cases, including domestic violence defense, possession of drugs, felony drug charges, photo radar, criminal speeding, disorderly conduct and marijuana possession.
