Have you ever ask yourself which article directory to share your articles on for maximum daily views? If so, then you are one of a group of literally thousands of authors struggling with this issue. This article looks at the pros and cons of choosing an ezine article site to submit your articles to.
So you have written your masterpiece. It is your pride and joy. A pure, literary delight. And of course, you now want to publish it on the internet. Your article is rich with information, and it is crucial that it gets the exposure it deserves. But how do you decide which ezine site you should submit it to, in order to guarantee it gets maximum daily views and does not just sit around, unread on a virtual shelf.
These days it seems, just about everyone you know is writing something about the games they play, their pets or their children. And everyone also wants to become a respected author. This has created an overload of blogs and ezines and has led to the creation of a multitude of article sharing websites. With hundreds of article sites, it is important to recognize the characteristics of a good ezine article directory. Choose wisely, or your article writing efforts could end up being forgotten.
So, what makes a top ezine site?
A good article directory needs to be simple to join and create an author profile on. It is more productive spending your valuable time writing articles than creating elaborate author profiles that go into your whole life story. A good ezine article directory should have a simple to use sign up form where you include some brief information about yourself and optionally upload a photo.
A top ezine article directory needs to have a simple process for submitting your articles. You want to submit your articles quickly and with no fuss. The ability to copy and paste from a word or notepad document means less time is required online. It is beneficial to write your articles prior to logging in to your article site. This includes having your resource box and a list of relevant keywords prewritten. If an article site does not allow you to copy and paste into their submit pages, then choose a different article site.
The best article sites have human editors. You want to stay away from article sites that are fully automated. Only human editors can proof read articles properly for quality.
A great article site is built on a stable, fully functional and well respected platform. Avoid websites that are built on amateur platforms, as these are commonplace, and you will not increase your popularity as an author by submitting your articles to sites like that.
The very best article websites are secure. Several article directory platforms that were widely used in the past have been hacked many times, and the procedure for hacking them has been shared on the internet. These platforms are the free, publicly available type that have been used for creating hundreds of low quality, article dumping sites that clutter up servers and the internet with rubbish articles. Steer well clear of free, insecure article site platforms.
The best ezine article directories are established, with a mid sized author base and a growing database of informative articles. Submitting your articles to an ezine article directory that has a quarter of a million signed up authors and literally millions of articles will mean your articles just become a needle in a haystack. By joining and submitting your articles to a site with less than fifty thousand authors will make sure you have a better chance to make their list of best authors.
The best article directory needs a huge amount of great exposure to make sure your articles are seen by as many people as possible. It is pointless to spend a lot of your valuable time writing and submitting articles if nobody gets the chance to read them. It is important that your articles be indexed by the search engines and have lots of visitors daily in order to get the exposure you want.
So, let us recap what makes a great ezine article site for submitting your articles to.
First, an article site should be easy and straightforward to join, should have an informative author profile, and should have an intuitive article submission process that allows you to copy and paste from word or notepad. Next, it needs to have human editors and be built on a respected, secure platform that is as safe from hackers as possible. Next, it needs to be well established with a solid base of high quality authors and articles, but it should not be a monstrosity where your articles will gather dust along with hundreds of thousands of others. Finally, and most importantly, it must have lots of exposure, to make sure your articles get the maximum views per day.
