Asian Cuisine Comes Alive This Spring at Singapore Expo

Singapore Expo’s long track record of hosting successful food shows is well-known, and in the next four weeks, 180,000 visitors are expected to descend upon the spacious Halls when the Convention and Exhibition Centre morphs into a true food haven. The gastronomic journey starts with Asian Food Delights (26 to 28 February), which, into its third edition, is a fun-filled food extravaganza for the whole family. Enjoy mouthwatering Asian cuisines, new food and beverage offerings and limited-edition fortune bag giveaways.

This is followed by Halal 2010 where you can gain an insight into the Muslim food philosophy. Round up your gourmet trip with Asia Food @ Expo where you can expect a showcase of the melting pot food culture of Asia. Both events will be running from 18 to 21 March.

Ideal venue for large-scale consumer food events

Food and beverage (F&B) companies and event organisers, culinary and manufacturing associations alike, have long been selecting Singapore Expo as their venue partner. Numerous transportation links to and from the city centre, plus 1.79 million potential visitors on its doorstep (over 40 per cent of that population lives in the East), mean that Singapore Expo offers organisers great accessibility to and high exposure of their F&B exhibitions.

Additionally, the family-friendly Convention and Exhibition Centre is situated at ground level, with practical parking right outside the Halls, 14 dedicated food and beverage outlets, collectively branded as Flavours East, and various amenities, so visitors’ needs are well taken care of.

Service excellence means successful exhibitions

Another integral part of the Singapore Expo experience is the world-class service that the team delivers. Looking after every element of event management, from transport logistics, registration and booth arrangements, to audio visual and lighting, the staff display this customer-centric commitment and dedication which truly make Singapore Expo a class of its own.

Mr Hamzah Hj. Abdullah, Managing Director of MegaXpress Communications Pte Ltd, which organises Halal 2010, is clearly impressed with the service he received from earlier editions. He says, “The exhibition business is all about people. Great relationships with our venue supplier and specifically our event planner mean that the level of service we receive from Singapore Expo is second to none. Even beyond their duty hours, they would still assist us in our difficulties. These guys know what this business is about and it is a pleasure to work with them!”
