Phoenix has toured the world, trained Hollywood celebrities in his art, consulted for blockbuster Hollywood movies such as XMEN, headlined the world’s only 6-star cruise ship theatres, as well as the world’s largest cruise ship, has been a guest on international chat shows, as well as Australian TV shows, & is set to present his unique style of “Mental Magic” to Sydney-siders in his show “Slide your mind – For IAPF”.
The International Anti-Poaching Foundation was formed by Australian ex-military soldier, Damien Mander, who has featured on 60 Minutes, the 7PM Project, & several other Australian television shows over the past 24 months for his work trying to save the Black Rhino from extinction. Damian & the IAPF are proud to have Phoenix onboard for this event & are just as thrilled as Phoenix himself is to be performing in his home city

Phoenix, who happens to be the newphew of late Australian country music singer/songwriter, Slim Dusty, grew up in Sydney before becoming one of the world’s leading “real-life Mentalists” responded to questions about why animal welfare is important to him by saying “You don’t have to be able to predict the future to realize that if we don’t do anything about the preservation of species, there may not BE a future. Damien has given up so much to do what he knows is right, it would’ve seemed like an impossible task at first, but Damien is proof that one man with courage is a majority”.
The show will entail everything from mind boggling predictions, to memory feats, danger, and what truly appears to be genuine mind-reading. The performance is set for one night only, and will be held at Slide on Oxford St, August 30th, 2012.
