With the new release of Oracle BI Applications, BI Consulting Group extends its BI solution offering to include Project Analytics and Loyalty Analytics

Minneapolis, MN, May 07, 2009 — BI Consulting Group today announced that it will be offering expanded professional services expertise based on the newly introduced Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Applications Release 7.9.6. The new capabilities in Oracle BI Applications Release 7.9.6 surrounding Project Analytics and Loyalty Analytics will provide BI Consulting Group an opportunity to help organizations to manage and execute with greater business insights and agility.

In addition, BI Consulting Group continues to provide services around the enhanced Oracle Human Resource Analytics and Oracle Procurement and Spend Analytics in this latest release of Oracle BI Applications. Oracle Human Resources Analytics introduces new monitoring and reporting capabilities for Recruitment Learning Management and Leave and Absence Analytics to help organizations further improve overall workforce performance and managerial effectiveness. Oracle Procurement and Spend Analytics features enhancements to help purchasing and procurement organizations glean greater insight into spend, supplier performance, and expenses.

“BICG has developed tried and true best practices for implementing all of Oracle BI Applications. These best practices are part of our standard project protocol and have also been incorporated into our BICG University training courses. Our customers are leveraging this knowledge of the Oracle BI Applications to extend intelligence quickly and efficiently throughout their enterprise,” said Mike Jelen, Vice President of BICG University, the education arm of BI Consulting Group.

“Oracle Project Analytics is certainly drawing the most excitement of the new and enhanced applications as most organizations in some way shape or form manage projects,” said Amy Mayer, President of BI Consulting Group. “The content available in the new Project Analytics is extremely comprehensive allowing you to analyze project costs compared to budgets, project revenues, billings and collections allowing you to drastically reduce the risk and manage projects much more effectively. I see strong interest for this application amongst both Oracle and non-Oracle customers as the content, data models and ETLs can be leveraged no matter the back-end system,” continued Mayer.

Oracle BI Applications are complete, pre-built BI solutions that deliver intuitive, role-based intelligence for everyone in an organization – from front-line employees to senior management – that enable better decisions, actions, and business processes. Based on best practices, these solutions enable organizations to gain greater insight and value from a range of data sources and applications including the Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise, Oracle’s Siebel CRM, Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and third party systems such as SAP.
