If you’re lucky to find a turtle, watch the amazing process as she painstakingly digs her nest, lays up to 100 eggs and then buries them in the moist sand before dragging herself back into the ocean, then help biologists relocate her eggs to the safety of the onsite turtle camp.

Golfer’s Paradise: Tee off amid the tropical jungle splendor at two championship courses with unparalleled challenges, vistas and fairways with a two-night stay in a Palmeras standard room for two adults starting at $965 US for one golfer and $1,365 US for two golfers. Play the visionary and beautiful 27-hole Isla Navidad course designed by Robert Von Hagge (30 min. away). Then indulge in the spectacular 18-hole David Fleming course at El Tamarindo (15 min. away), where you tee off cliff-top toward the ocean as whales and dolphins pass by.
