From the 9th to the 15th of April the four-star resort proposes a rich programme of activities: horse-drawn carriage rides, horse trekking, sightseeings, art exhibitions, and even hot-air balloon flights. For the little guests there is Asterland, the club of fun.

The Easter Egg of Grand Hotel Terme Astro reserves not one but many surprises to spend an unforgettable holiday among horse-drawn carriages and hot-air balloons, historical towns and tastings, live concerts and fashion shows. It would be a shame to stay at home and miss dances and dinners prepared by the chefs of Restaurant Delle Calle.

From the 9th to the 15th of April the hotel and wellness center proposes a lively windmill of activities and initiatives, starting the 10th of April with an enticing buffet to welcome the guests with teas, herbal teas and pastries. From 9PM everyone on the dance floor ready to dance the great 70s and 80s hits with the band “Zetaevu”.

On Saturday 11th a horse-drawn carriage ride to discover Tabiano, thermal center set among the sweet hills of the Parmesan Appenninis. For those who love medieval towns the programme provides a trip to Castell’Arquato with an inviting stop to taste the local wines, such as the Malvasia of Colli Piacentini.
On the way back, it deserves another stop the Taste Corner to enjoy typical products like the ham, the Culatello, the salami and the Parmesan Cheese. At night it is time to play at the green table accompanied by the music of “Ste, Baby and Elena”, the bravest can sing their favourite songs at the karaoke. For those who love to walk under the moonlight there is “Liberty at night”, a guided tour in Salsomaggiore among its monuments built at the beginning of XXth century.

The wishes of the Grand Hotel Terme Astro arrive exactly on Easter Day with a rich book of appointments that comprehend horse-drawn carriage rides among the streets of Tabiano, a curious art exhibition of genius artists and masters and a fashion show. The beautiful dresses ot the roaring twenties will walk the runway, as a homage to the glamour of the female stars who treaded the boards at that time.

Surprises are not finished yet. On the list, there is the horse trekking to enjoy an outdoor afternoon, immersed in the quietness of the grassy hills and the lonely paths. Last but not least, the chance to take a look at the stalls of the Fiera dell’Angelo in Salsomaggiore, and, dulcis in fundo, to fly with th hot-air balloon. Yes, it’s true. The guests of the hotel and wellness center near Parma will have the opportunity to enjoy a breath-taking view and see the world from on high.

Music and cuisine are the protagonists of the great gala on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. While the delicious dishes prepared by the chefs of the restaurant Delle Calle delight the taste, the music notes of Enza (Sunday 12th) and Davide (Monday 13th) cherish the hearing.

On Easter Monday last chance to experience a flight on the hot-air balloon, to ride or to visit the Fiera dell’Angelo of Salsomaggiore. The buffet, in the afternoon, with herbal teas and pastries, says goodbye to those who have to leave and go back home.

What about children? Grand Hotel Terme Astro has planned something also for them of course. Asterland, the animation service of the hotel, is open from the afternoon of the 10th of April till the morning of the 14th. The club of fun, reserved to children aged 3 and over, welcomes three new friends from “Softland”: the Labyrinthicous Rubber Dinghy, the Fantacastle and the Sprizt Slide, soft inflatable games to live incredible adventures with friends. The labs, too, can count on three new assistants: Paschal the manual funny rascal, Diva Dove at the emotional shopwork and Rabbit the Reactivity at the lab creativity. On Sunday 12th there will be a big party with a yummy egg and a surprise naturally signed by Asterland.
