ClickCulture Redesigns National Online Clean Energy Database
Web Site Provides a Centralized Resource for Incentives

RALEIGH, N.C. (June 11, 2009)—ClickCulture Inc. (www.clickculture.com), a Raleigh-based Web technologies, design and integrated marketing firm, announces today that it has redesigned the Database of State Incentives for Renewables and Efficiency Web site, known as DSIRE. The Web site features a searchable database for businesses and consumers interested in renewable energy and energy efficiency incentives, as well as complies with section 508 of the ADA code.

“We are impressed by ClickCulture’s work,” says Sue Gouchoe, policy program manager for the NC Solar Center and representative of DSIRE. “The new site must be ADA compliant, be easy to navigate for a variety of users, ranging from consumers to policymakers to the clean tech industry. Additionally, the site needs to contain the most current information as incentives and regulations change.”

ClickCulture applies a four-phase approach to the Web site development process that clearly defines the Web strategy, site functionality, site infrastructure and planned evolution.

“Not only is there a new information architecture and creative design for DSIRE’s Web site, but we are also communicating a branded site that is scalable as new incentives are developed,” says Lloyd Jacobs, CEO of ClickCulture. “This design has to be accessible to everyone who wants to learn about incentives for green initiatives and renewable-energy practices.”

The DSIRE program is an ongoing effort developed by the North Carolina Solar Center and the Interstate Renewable Energy Council in 1995. The project receives funding from the U.S. Department of Energy.
