Powerful, thought-provoking documentary short tells the story of one Latino, gay man’s boundless persistence to find the right female to bear his child — And one woman’s dilemma: choosing a traditional relationship, and waiting for it; or experience something extraordinary, now…

Cambridge, MA, November 15, 2011 — Controversial documentary short The Baby Daddy Project will screen at Harvard University during the Boston Latino International Film Festival, November 17-22. The film will be screened in English. Heralded by viewers as “…deeply moving and inspirational…destined to touch many lives and bring awareness to non-traditional families….raises hard-hitting questions on a topic rarely discussed…”

The film has been touching small audiences in private screenings throughout Australia and the United States and at just weeks after completion, has been chosen as the first official selection for the 10th Annual 2011 Boston Latino International Film Festival.

This truly unique relationship is still evolving and, at press release time, the two protagonists have still not met in person, as they shot their scenes separately from two different continents via colorful, visceral Skype conversations.

Come be a part of a poetic, poignant moment in the lives of two people as they meet for the very first time, face to face, after their first cinematic venture. Question and Answer session will follow.
