Dee Mower, Trivani International’s President announced the company has created a personal care products line completely free of carcinogenic and harmful ingredients as part of the company’s eco-friendly and toxin-free Do No Harm Philosophy.

Springville, UT, April 16, 2010 — Leslie Deeanne Mower, Trivani International’s President (http://www.trivani.net/), has created a line of health and beauty products completely free of potentially harmful and carcinogenic ingredients. Trivani’s Do No Harm Philosophy™ also guarantees that their product formulas cause no known harmful interactions and are environmentally friendly.

“Many companies out there use expensive, carcinogenic fragrances in products because they know the consumer will decide what to buy based on how good the product smells,” says Dee Mower, President of Trivani International. “By cutting out fragrance and releasing products completely free of dangerous toxins known to cause cancer, birth defects and other health problems, we’re doing one more thing to help our customers live safer, cleaner, and hopefully longer, lives.”

According to numerous EPA and FDA reports, many products, from shampoo and conditioner to aftershave and body cream, commonly contain hazardous ingredients which have been linked to cancer, adverse skin reactions, asthma and other health problems. As a matter of fact, 287 potentially harmful ingredients were recently highlighted by the DC-based Environmental Working Group, a research lab dedicated to identifying harmful environmental toxins. Trivani’s products contain none of those hazardous chemicals.

A recent study2 by the Mount Sinai School of Medicine confirmed the link between pregnant mothers exposed to chemical pollutants and children with behavioral disorders. “More phthalates equaled more behavioral problems. For every increase in exposure, we saw an increase in frequency and severity of symptoms, including attention problems, poor conduct and aggression.” said Stephanie Engel, an associate professor of preventive medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
Lorie Harrell, a Trivani International member based in Colorado, says. “When I first found out how many common beauty and personal care products contain agents that can really harm the body, I was more than shocked. But now, as a Trivani distributor, I not only use these products myself, but offer them to others knowing full-well that I’m selling something that is a solid, completely safe product.”
