Burlington, NC, September 24, 2008 — Disabled author, Lanaia Lee, has published the first book in a five-book historical-fantasy series, Of Atlantis, released in July to rave reviews. One reviewer called it, “Page to Screen Material”.

Based upon one of the kings of the lost continent of Atlantis, Lee’s main character, Archimedes, prevails in war, survives the destruction of Atlantis and with his arch-enemy, Uric, goes on to play crucial roles in subsequent historical events like the Mayan Doomsday Prophecy, the Prophecies of Nostradamus, the Crystal Skulls of Belize, the third Dynasty (Imhotep) of Egypt and The Third Reich.

In 1992, a stroke left Lee hospitalized and in recovery and rehab for years. Now in a wheelchair, she has prevailed by focusing her energies toward what she calls a gift from God, her writing. In rehab, Lee met her husband, David, also in a wheelchair from a motorcycle crash he suffered while serving in the military. The two complement one another – David cheers as she types with one hand.

Lee’s second book in the series, Skulls of Salvation, will be available in early 2009. Visit her website for more information: www.lanaiaslair.com.
