The Dryer Vent Cleaning Arlington Wizard reveals importance of dryer vent cleaning which is too often overlooked by homeowners
Arlington, VA – Dryer vent cleaning should be added to homeowners’ appliance maintenance routine; however, this is the one area that is often overlooked according to the Dryer Vent Cleaning Arlington VA Wizard. “Lint accumulation in dryer ducts is the leading cause of dryer fires,” says Janice Bittner, owner of Dryer Vent Wizard.
Janice Bittner explains to her customers how 40 percent of lint from drying laundry escapes the lint screen and ends up trapped around the dryer drum, the motor and in the dryer vent system. “Failure to maintain the dryer vent system causes the dryer to overwork and use more energy,” said Bittner. “Dryer lint build-up causes wear and tear on the dryer motor and as the system overheats it becomes a fire hazard.”
When asked what people can do to prevent dryer hazards, the Dryer Vent Cleaning Arlington VA Wizard advises, “Have your dryer vent system inspected to be sure it is installed properly. I find a problem with 9 out of 10 dryer vent systems. Professional dryer vent installation by a dryer exhaust specialist and regular dryer vent cleaning service will ensure a safer and greener clothes dryer.”
In addition, Janice explained how leaks in a dryer exhaust system can lead to increased humidity in homes and allow mold and mildew growth. “Homeowners with gas dryers also risk venting problems resulting in carbon monoxide poisoning,” said Bittner. “Regular dryer vent cleaning is recommended to keep clothes dryers running safely and efficiently.”
Dryer Vent Wizard Get the Lint Out is a dryer vent service franchise with nearly 60 locations in the U.S. Janice Bittner serves homes and businesses in Northern Virginia, Arlington, Sterling and neighboring cities. Visit http://www.dryerventcleaningarlingtonva.com/ to learn more.
