7-2-08 ORLANDO, FL: DSO Gaming Clan announced the establishment of its first all-male division, “DSO Lockdown.” Originally an all-female video gaming clan, the Clan’s leadership expressed a desire to recognize and include male gamers in its ranks. DSO’s impressive growth rate is credited to the enthusiastic support of male gamers who have been loyal to the “girl gamers” of Delta since before the transition from their former clan. DSO Lockdown, DSO’s first all-male division, will be competing in Halo 3.
DSO would like to congratulate Ernesto Garay, known in the gaming world as “Defective X DSOâ€, as its first male division leader. The leadership selection process is intense, requiring a formal written application, submission of a curriculum vitae and interviews with DSO Clan leaders. Leaders must demonstrate strength of character, ability to use logic, commitment to the Clan’s core values and strong leadership skills. After a meticulous selection process, Defective X DSO was appointed as the Division’s first leader. Clan leaders conducted a similarly rigorous interview of Christopher Berding, known as “DSO Doomsdayâ€, who was chosen as the Division’s first Recruitment Manager.
The Lockdown division is growing at an impressive rate, attracting skilled gamers and offering strategic and skill-building practices to recruits and members. DSO Lockdown will create and develop competitive small teams who will represent DSO Clan in live, local and national, tournaments. Lockdown’s teams will also compete in online gaming leagues or “laddersâ€, such as Major League Gaming’s GameBattles. DSO Lockdown is recruiting serious Halo 3 gamers with great attitudes.
