Redmond, WA (May 20, 2008) – Dynamic Systems, Inc. announced today it has agreed to acquire EDP System Services, a developer of turnkey and custom software solutions for bar code applications.

The acquisition combines the barcode systems expertise of DSI with EDP’s software solutions. The combined company will bring over 50 years experience to the bar code market place.

About EDP System Services Inc.
EDP was founded in 1981 by Jim and Ann Eachus to provide software for the bar code market. Applications provided by EDP include their CheckMate suite of software for Capital Assets, Tool Room and Document Tracking. The CheckMate Stockroom Inventory Control package addresses the requirements for accurate inventory control in small, stand-alone warehouses.

EDP also has a specialty software product, SIMBA, for the fish processing industry that produces carton and pallet labels, tracks production data and records inventory right at the point of production in the processing plants. EDP’s software is widely used in many industries, including the US Armed Services, virtually all the fish processing plants in Alaska, large and small manufacturing companies, professional firms, and healthcare facilities.
