Hailing from San Antonio, Texas—Simply Rayne, also known as the “New” Princess of R&B, recently released her new soulful ballad and accompanying music video, “Need to Know,” a song focusing on a first time broken heart. When asked about her new single, she stated “By writing this song, I was able to express my feelings more openly and freely about the break up. I can imagine other females listening to this song and relating to its heartfelt, emotional lyrics.”
Simply Rayne burst in to the music scene three years ago with her single “Circles” which was featured on The Stars of Tomorrow Top Five Songs and received international air-play. Since then, she has shared the stage with popular acts: Becky G, Keith Sweat, T.I., Flo Rida and Kid Ink to name a few.
Last weekend, Simply Rayne performed the National Anthem at the AT&T Center for the WNBA San Antonio Stars Game. Simply Rayne is currently in the studio working on her highly anticipated EP with Multi-Platinum Songwriter and Producer, Andrew Lane from Drew Right Music.
Influenced by Beyoncé, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Lauryn Hill, Rayne brings a very rich, smooth, and soulful blend of pop, rhythm, blues, and hip hop vocals to the table.

Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Reiana Fernandez, known by her stage name, Simply Rayne, was always destined to be a part of the entertainment world. Initially wanting to become an actress and model she later realized she had a natural niche for singing and songwriting. She released her first professional single “Circles” in August 2013 which received international air-play and was featured on The Stars of Tomorrow Top Five Songs that year.
Simply Rayne has shared her passion and love for music by performing as a lead vocalist in a cross country tour which advocated anti-bullying to teens through a school concert series. Since then she has been the opening act for concert headliners such as Becky G, Keith Sweat, Kid Ink, T.I., and Flo Rida.
Her first original single and music video “How We Do” was nationally released in March 2016. She is currently working on her EP with Multi-Platinum Record Producer, Andrew Lane, of Drew Right Music out of Los Angeles Her new EP is set to release later this year. Simply Rayne often travels to the West Coast for singing and acting opportunities to showcase her outstanding talent around the globe.
