Ottawa based Reset Electronics Inc. receives June 2008 growth award based on their revenue performance.

Chicago, Illinois, August 08, 2008 — Reset Electronics Inc., a distributor of electronic and lighting solutions based in Ontario, Canada, has been recognized as a high-growth private company by the Entrex Private Company Index (PCI), a benchmarking index that measures the performance of private companies in North America.

PCI gave Reset Electronics its Top Growth Award based on the 148 percent increase realized from its June 2008 revenue over June 2007.

“In a slowing economy, any type of growth is significant,” said Stephen H. Watkins, CEO of Entrex, a Chicago-based company that sponsors the PCI. “Growth of almost 150 percent is off the charts.”

Reset Electronics CEO Patrick Whittaker attributes the company’s success to quoting on as many federal government opportunities as possible. “In the past,” he said, “We were somewhat limited to deals under $100,000, but now we are often working on much larger opportunities. Customers are coming to us with much larger projects, and suppliers are working with us to ensure we get the business. We have come a long way since starting the company in 1999.”

The PCI issues this Top Growth award each month and presents the Top Five Growth Company award each quarter.
