Firm Forms New Partnerships and Expands Paralegal Training in US

F

Golden, CO, March 2010. The Center for Legal Studies began partnering with Colleges and Universities across the country in 1980 to offer courses in legal studies. As of March 15, 2010, The Center for Legal Studies has finalized new partnerships with several new schools which will make their programs more available to students in every state. The new institutions now offering paralegal training and other legal studies programs are:

Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Meyers, Florida
Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Connecticut
The Community College of the District of Columbia
Saint Leo University which has 17 Continuing Education Centers in 7 states

“We are extremely pleased to bring affordable paralegal training to more locations, and look forward to the doing our part to assist anyone who wishes to gain entry into the legal field in the most cost and time effective manner possible.”, says Gary Knippa, President of The Center for Legal Studies.

The Paralegal Certificate Course through The Center for Legal Studies can be completed in as short as 6 weeks for as little as $1089. There is a dramatic difference when this is compared to an Associate or Bachelor degree program that can take between 2-5 years to complete and cost anywhere from $3,000 to $50,000. The longer and more expense programs are not a viable option for most individuals who need to find employment quickly. Students interested in gaining more information about paralegal training and other programs offered by The Center for Legal Studies can visit their website http://www.legalstudies.com or call 1-800-522-7737 for immediate assistance.

The certificate, once earned, is issued by the partnering College or University which gives it more credibility when presented to a prospective employer. In the past thirty years the center has graduated thousands of students who are now working in the legal field. The mission of the Center to provide quick, intensive, low cost programs has never been more relevant than it is today. With the high unemployment numbers across the nation it is critical that workers in transition gain the skills they need to secure employment in fields with documented patterns of strong growth.
