In 2010, Trotec presented with the Speedy 300 flexx a unique laser system. For the first time a CO2 and a fiber laser source were integrated into one Speedy. Now the “Flexx-Function” is patent pending. Depending on the material to be processed, either of the laser sources can be used. Use both laser sources in a single job without the need to manually change laser tubes, lenses or focus.
This leads to multifaceted applications, freedom and flexibility for the customers. A CO2-laser source is perfect for engraving plastics, wood, rubber, glass, leather and many other materials. For engraving and marking metals and for achieving colour change on plastics a fiber laser is the proper tool.
The highlight for Trotec customers: Speedy 300 and Speedy 400 is upgradeable to Speedy 300 flexx or Speedy 400 flexx. Even if you don’t need the capabilities of the fiber laser in the beginning, you can always upgrade later when the need is there. The laser system Speedy 300 and Speedy 400 can be upgraded to a Speedy 300 flexx or a Speedy 400 flexx at any time.
With the new Flexx-Function the user is much more flexible because now it is possible to carry out complicated jobs without needing to change laser sources or loading in some new files. The two sources enable the user to engrave and cut different materials in one process step. With JobControl, a patented laser software, the users of the Speedy laser machines can profit even more because with the colour mapping function it gives even more flexibility and saves time.
