Dr. Marc Sanders Named Clinical Director of Freedom LASIK

Dallas, Texas, June 1, 2008 – Voted “Texas Top Doc” and “America’s Top Cataract and Refractive Surgeon” Marc Sanders, M.D., F.A.C.S. has been appointed Clinical Director at Freedom LASIK at Sugar Land Town Center. Dr. Sanders is the preferred surgeon to lead the state of the art eye care center as he is a nationally recognized leader in LASIK, cataract and refractive surgery.

Board certified in all FDA approved lasers, he is devoted to staying in the forefront of his rapidly changing field. He was one of the first surgeons to offer new techniques such as IntraLase, all-laser LASIK, custom wavefront LASIK and the refractive lens exchange. At Freedom Lasik, Dr. Sanders works alongside a dedicated team who is committed to offering the best customer service and the latest technology at affordable pricing for everyone. The team’s primary goal is to break cultural boundaries by impacting and improving the lives of as many candidates as possible through restored and significantly improved vision.

Dr. Sanders knows all too well about LASIK surgery given that he has had the procedure done personally. This is why he’s so compassionate about the LASIK patients he treats each day. He gets pleasure from his patients’ reaction the day after surgery when they can see clearly without glasses for the first time. He is highly requested by Houston physicians, surgeons and national as well as local celebrities to perform their eye surgery, which validates Dr. Sanders’ surgical skills. A graduate of Duke University and Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Sanders is also a part-time professor at Baylor College of Medicine where he teaches surgeons in training.
