Fresh Food Expert Laura Mcintosh to Speak at the National Restaurant Association Show

Laura McIntosh, fresh food expert and host of the Emmy-nominated TV show Bringing it Home with Laura McIntosh, is set to speak Sunday, May 23, during the Food & Healthy Living Education sessions at the 2010 National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show.

Tampa, FL, May 24, 2010 — Laura McIntosh, fresh food expert and host of the Emmy-nominated TV show Bringing it Home with Laura McIntosh, is set to speak Sunday, May 23, during the Food & Healthy Living Education sessions at the 2010 National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show. The show, which has plenty to offer the thousands of restaurant, foodservice and lodging professionals attending, includes an impressive lineup of more than 65 education sessions focused on helping restaurant and foodservice operators succeed.

In her session, “Local” Making You Loco? How to implement a local sourcing strategy”, McIntosh joins co-panelists Janet Ady, industry foodservice supply chain expert, Bob Borchardt, owner of Harvest One Farms, and John Folse, owner/CEO, Chef John Folse and Company to discuss the latest trends and resources for connecting restaurant operators to local and artisan producers. McIntosh, a fifth-generation farmer from the Central Valley in California, educates the public on how fresh produce gets from the field to the table on her TV show, Bringing it Home with Laura McIntosh.
