Fusionbox has received a 2008 Gold Key Award from the Colorado Chapter of the Business Marketing Association for their work with Adolfson & Peterson Construction, in the category of Search Engine Marketing. The awards banquet took place on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at the Cable Center at the University of Denver.

Adolfson & Peterson Construction, one of the nation’s leading construction management firms, approached Fusionbox needing a complete web solution. Fusionbox employed an integrated search strategy from the initial stages of web site design through development in order to better address user needs, boost web site visibility, and drive targeted leads.

After completing web development and the first stages of the strategic Search Engine Optimization (SEO) process, Fusionbox launched a Search Engine Marketing campaign that focused on targeted keywords promoting the company’s expertise in green construction. This strategy helped build the A&P’s brand, promote thought leadership, and attract traffic.

Fusionbox’s SEO experts began by examining search data in order to gain insight into what users were looking for and how they were looking for it. They also considered A&P’s business objectives, offerings, brand, and competitive advantage in order to align A&P’s online marketing efforts. This integrated approach improves web site usability while boosting visibility across the search engines.

“The original A&P site presented several unique challenges that Fusionbox was able to overcome with an integrated strategy focused on web design, development, and search engine marketing. Our targeted approach to A&P’s site has made it an essential business tool and we are proud to be recognized through a Gold Key award for our work on this project,” notes Fusionbox President, Alexander Groth.

More than 130 entries were received in 47 categories from Colorado’s top B2B businesses and agencies. Entries were reviewed by a panel of 6 independent judges from across the country representing agencies, corporate marketing and academia.

The Gold Key Awards are recognized as Colorado’s most prestigious competition dedicated solely to business-to-business marketing communications.

“We have worked hard over the years to make the BMA Gold Key Awards one of the most coveted by marketers in the state,” says Marilee Yorchak, Executive Director, Colorado Business Marketing Association. “We’d like to extend our congratulations to the winners of this year’s awards program. It is always fiercely competitive and those that receive awards are truly the best of the best.”
