KingFish communication launches interactive social map for the web.

Tokyo, Japan, March 11th. 2008 — Mapeer is a social map service powered by Google Maps application programming interface (API). The web site allows users to share and communicate ideas with each other on a global stage. You can share your specific city knowledge, information on outdoor attractions, tourist information and many other topics. Users can compile the position, the area, and the route jointly and release the information online. Images, videos and comments can be posted to enhance the directions, destination or overall information. There is a function to measure the distances or area of a map. A user can also import marker information on previously created maps to easily publish new online maps.

All regional information which is hosted on Mapeer can be easily unified. Furthermore, it is possible to edit the content with a group of users and to share the regional information.
