means to do so, free of cost. Green Equations, a non-profit organization specializing
in energy efficiency, will consult with new and existing clients of Citizens Choice to
provide them with actionable blueprints for achieving utility reductions.
By allowing the families and individuals who have already taken the first
step towards lowering their utility bill the opportunity to reduce their overall
consumption rate, this partnership furthers the goal of the customer while reducing
their impact on the climate and environment. This two-pronged approach will save
Citizens Choice customers even more money in their utility costs and take tangible
steps toward a more sustainable world.
Utilizing Citizens Choice Energy’s existing on-the-ground operations, Green
Equations will be able to locate residents proven to be interested in lowering their
energy costs and assist them in advancing their efforts even further. The energy
audits provided will focus on creating energy efficiency on a budget; highlighting
simple, affordable solutions that can be easily implemented. In addition to helping
the individual client, Green Equations and Citizens Choice encourage these citizens
to become community change-agents, spreading their newfound knowledge to their
families and peers. Citizens Choice Energy and Green Equations are demonstrating
that through focused, cooperative efforts the culture of tomorrow can also be the
culture of sustainability that we need it to be.
