Atlanta, GA USA, December 23, 2008 — Joseph Boswell of Atlanta, GA, a/k/a “Greenman”, will be arriving by bicycle in Houston on or around Christmas day.
Boswell left Atlanta, GA on December 1st on his two wheels – and so far his fundraising journey has taken him through Mobile, Gulfport, New Orleans and Baton Rouge, among other lesser-known stops. He is raising money for the National MS Society – inspired to do so by his father, who suffers from the disease.
While in New Orleans, Boswell acquired his first corporate sponsor, Begreenman.com. The company donated his green bodysuit, and helped him to create the Greenman persona that has garnered the attention of local news crews and residents in the towns he visits.
“It became the lead story on the 6:00 news in Baton Rouge”, said Boswell “and we were grateful for the coverage, because donations have begun to come in. This trip, while interesting and fun, has always been about the mission to raise money to find a cure for MS”.
