There has never been so high demand for group ski holidays! In recent past, Alpine Elements has witnessed bookings of over 34% for large groups of more than 12 members.
The reason behind it is perhaps the great value discounts offered and the leader spaces that are offered free of cost for 2009. Actually skiers have realised the money saving value of group bookings that have led to the increase in popularity of group ski holidays.
This relative economy of scale means that a group of skiers with 10 or more members can save on their ski holiday package as well as their lift pass and ski hire needs.
However, groups have to book their ski holiday as fast as possible, if they do not wish to settle for a ‘B-grade’ chalet or resort at a low altitude. Such last-minute bookings rob the fun off the holiday package as low-level cabins, especially in Andorra and around the Eastern Block do not get ample snow-cover throughout the season.
