Hertfordshire Charity To Benefit From Free IT Support

Celebrating the launch of a business with an act of charity? It may not seem like the norm during times of economic crisis, but Techsolvers, a new Hertfordshire-based IT support company, are doing just that.

Techsolvers, located in Watford, are currently searching for one registered charity in the county to receive free remote IT support. The preferred charity will be chosen on the 29th June.

Company executive Philip Long says, ‘We’re very excited to be offering our IT services to the people of Hertfordshire, and felt it was only right to give something back to a local charity. We would ask any interested organisations to make contact as soon as possible’.

Although a start-up company donating their time and effort to the local community may seem unusual, Philip Long and Thomas Mitchell formed Techsolvers in that same spirit, after an unlikely meeting with a local businessman who had problems with his new printer. He had engaged various local IT companies, each of whom had not been able to fix the issue, however still charged for the service.

Mitchell fixed the printer within 30 minutes. Sensing a gap in the market, he sought out local IT expert Philip Long and the partnership was born. Techsolvers are now excited at the chance of offering high quality IT support to small and medium sized businesses in Hertfordshire.

Mitchell and Long are now taking applications from local charities for their award and any interested organisations are asked to make contact via the company website: http://www.techsolvers.co.uk
