High Performance DSP-Based XDS510+ EVM Emulator Board
Toronto, Canada – GAO Embedded (www.GAOEmbedded.com) has released its fast and efficient XDS510 +EVM emulator board which is commonly used in product development, research, experimentation and study. This emulator board uses a fixed-point DSP TMS320VC5410A at 160 MIPS and integrates an XDS510 emulator complying with all TMS320 family DSPs.
This XDS510+ EVM emulator board offers an analog signal I/O port, one A/D channel (14bit) and one D/A channel (14bit) and provides a high sampling rate of up to 14 kHz. It features great extending capability: peripherals can be easily extended to meet diverse needs such as an A/D sampling card, a memory storage card or a network card. A DSP extending USB interface offers an interface to a daughter card including address USB, data USB, read/write control signal and IRQ signal which makes it convenient to address a boot loader card, extended RAM, extended AD/DA or a network card. It has an upgraded MIC & speaker interface. The emulator board is equipped with four LED status indicators for power, internal JTAG ON, XF and DSP timer output. Additionally, the integrated JTAG control circuits allow users to use CCS without an external emulator.
This XDS510+ EVM emulator board belongs to GAO’s family of TI DSP Evaluation Board. A more advanced model of this family is 2812EVM-? which is an upgrade to GAO’s 2812EVM-?. This family offers GAO’s customers valuable choices. The family of emulator boards is commonly used in product development research.
