HomeLand Awarded Approximate US$300,000 Contract of UVSS

Malaysia, October 2008- HomeLand Technology Sdn Bhd (“HomeLand”), the leading manufacturer of Under Vehicle Screening System in Malaysia, has won contract from the Ministry of Interior Kuwait totaling about US$300,000, the company said today.

The contract is inclusive of the integration with Arabic License Plate Recognition and Driver’s Face Capturing Systems as a complete turn key security solution.

Mr. Vincent Lau, the director of HomeLand, stated, “We are extremely pleased to have received our latest major contract from Kuwait, making HomeLand Digital Colour UVSS a prominent brand in Middle East.” HomeLand has received order from one of the prestige Palaces in Kuwait last month.

Apart from the system performance in providing high resolution colour images of undercarriage, the system flexibility and scalability are some other factors in making HomeLand Digital Colour UVSS a more outstanding product among competitors in the market. “We are able to customize design in order to meet various operation needs of our customers, and we are committed to constant researches and upgrading the system to be on par with the increasing threats of terrorism.” Mr. Vincent Lau said.

Digital Colour UVSS was launched by HomeLand in year 2005. It is specially designed to provide an effective and reliable surveillance system for inspecting the undercarriage of vehicles. It exposes the undercarriage from all makes and models for explosive devices, suspicious objects, contraband which includes drug and personnel. Since 2005, the system has been installed and used by many government and private sectors worldwide.
