Housebuilder of the Year 2011 Recognised at What House? Awards

The What House? Awards have awarded United House Developments the prestigious “Housebuilder of the Year” award in 2011.

The What House? Awards ceremony, held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, awarded the highest accolade for developers of new homes to United House Developments, who are based in Kent, for their innovative and ground-breaking new developments. During 2011 United House Developments has delivered 191 units ranging in prices from a £130,000 apartment in a Hounslow regeneration scheme to a £5.5 million property in London’s Covent Garden. The housebuilder also has further planned new home developments in the pipeline totalling more than £500 million.
The home builder also won another category for the “Best Medium Housebuilder” award.

In total there were 21 categories featured in the What House? Awards in which home builders across the UK were recognised for their achievements in the new homes construction industry.
Amongst the 21 awards given was the “Best Large Housebuilder” which was awarded to Redrow Homes who specialise in new developments in Kent, Berkshire, Hampshire and new homes in Bristol. The “Best Small Housebuilder” award was won by City & Country Group who is a family-run business based in Essex. The housebuilder has been building new homes in Essex and new developments in Suffolk for 50 years. The company specialises in restoring historic buildings and converting them into high quality new homes.

City & Country Group also won the “Best Starter Home” award for their new home in Essex at Kendall Court, The Galleries located in Brentwood. The “Sustainable Developer of the Year” award went to Keepmoat Homes who specialise in building new homes in Birmingham and The Midlands, Yorkshire and Leeds.

Manor Kingdom Homes by Gladedale were awarded the “Best Luxury Development” award for their innovative new homes in Scotland located at Rutherford Castle which is close to the rural village of West Linton.

Over 1,100 guests attended the awards event that is held annually by What House?
