HumanCentric Announces Manager of Industrial Design

CARY, N.C. (May 27, 2008) — HumanCentric, a full-service, integrated product development services company, announces today the promotion of Brian Chiarizia to manager of industrial design. Chiarizia will manage HumanCentric’s industrial designers and design engineers, help define the ongoing strategy of this design capability and support clients with their industrial design and design engineering projects.

“Brian is the rare type of designer that can work across multiple disciplines. He embodies the versatility that makes him not only a great creative asset for our company, but enables him to provide strong leadership to the creative team,” says Sheila Crosby, director of design for HumanCentric. “As Brian transitions into his new role, he will be instrumental in growing industrial design and design engineering expertise for HumanCentric.”

Since 2005, Chiarizia has worked with HumanCentric as a senior industrial designer. His background ranges from concept ideation and product design to rapid prototyping and form study development. Chiarizia received a B.F.A. in industrial design with a concentration in art history from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y. He is an active member of the Industrial Designers Society of America.
